ASATO- AKAN- Focal point

The Ancestral home of the people of Asato-Akan is Denkyira. Present Asato is located about 270 kms. north of Accra the capital of Ghana. The main occupation of the people of this area is farming. Though Asato can boast of a number of university graduates , it has it’s share of social- economic and health problems. The community is underdeveloped with no infrastructure. There is poverty: non- existence of jobs, school, clinics, libraries and other social amenities. MEF has started to make a difference and will continue to make changes.
